Institution submits to EMGS
Your institution submits the student pass application to EMGS on your behalf. Processing of the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) takes about 2–4 weeks.
Receive your VAL and enter Malaysia
With your Visa Approval Letter (and a single-entry visa if required), you travel to Malaysia.
Post-arrival medical & pass endorsement
Complete a medical screening (X-ray + blood test) at an EMGS-registered clinic within 7 working days of arrival (~RM 150–250), then your student pass is endorsed in your passport.
